Thank you that helps. :)
But I recently purchased the starter kit from smooth-on(liquid rubber compound and liquid plastic compound) and and it came with the Mann Ease Release 205. Do you know if that will work? Oh.and one other thing. If i open the bottles releases or the liquid compounds, and dont use them all, can I storage them for using it another time or will the dry up or something?
I bet from your expierience you may know.I really appriciate taking your time to reply so fast and sharing your knowledge.Thaknk you again very much Mr.Ron. ^__^

205 might not be for Platinum silicone, it's probably for Tin Cure so, I would get the 200 just in case. Mold release never goes bad so, it's good to have the 205 on the shelf for future use. And the silicone itself never seems to go bad either. I'm sure everything must have a shelf life but, I've never personally seen any silicone go bad. I've had silicone (previously opened) sit on a shelf for years and it's still good when I use it. (it's urethane rubbers and plastics that have a short shelf life)

Hello~
I made some plaster(of paris) molds and i want to cast silicone in it(dragonskin).Does it need any kind of release agent? vaseline, baby powder.(green)soap or something like that?
Any help would be appreciated!
Thank you. ^__^

You need 'Mann Ease Release 200', which is a spray on release.

Thank you Ron. I'm very nervous, but I'm going to live on the edge and give it a go!
Have been using your mold making tutorials on You Tube as well, so thank you for that too x

I use a plasticine called 'Newplast'. Not sure if it's one you've come across x

I looked up the technical data sheet for Newplast and I see no sulfur content and it's listed as a non-toxic material so, you should be good to go! :)
