OK so it's been a very long drum-rollllllllllllll to get to this point but, the shoot date for the first Dynamation sequence in The 5th Voyage starts shooting this week! I'm both excited and nervous about it, even though I've shot a good amount of test footage, that's still not the real deal. (FYI that shot of the Cyclops in the teaser that was released some time ago was actually one of my test animation shots!)

The stop motion character that will be shot first in this film will not be the Cyclops but a much more complex puppet and so the demand on me to really perform well will be very intense. So maybe I should call in Nick Hilligoss or Justin Rasch to animate instead of me??? I mean this is going to require a real PRO animator and I'm suddenly feeling the urge to call in sick so I don't embarrass myself! (it feels like the night before the wedding jitters... and I'm marrying Mrs.KONG!)

Oh, about my previous News Update - I never did have to serve on a jury, I didn't get picked. WHEW! And those props I mentioned got done on time and shipped off to the studio. Double Whew!
