Old Dino Puppets
Description:
Pics of my old puppets.
This is my one and only foam latex cast puppet. The molding and casting was done by my friend Jim with myself assisting him. The ball and socket armature was made by Ken Walker. I designed and sculpted the puppet. This version had latex build up teeth, and reworked build up hands.
This is a staged behind the scenes photo from my film Fish Tales. I can tell because the rear screen projector is not on the table in the back. That is the first Super 8 camera I ever used, a Bauer C-Royal 6.
This is the Plesiosaur from my film A Dinosaur Tail or Two. This model was made in 1984. It has a steel wire armature, balsa wood skull, latex built up teeth. The head was skulpted in clay and caste in latex, the skins are also latex. It was painted with a mix of acrylic paint and latex.
