Books

I am a big fan of graphic novels and comic books, but I couldn't possibly list the collection. I think my favourite at the moment has been the Scott Pilgrim series. I have also devoured the Harry Potter 7, Lord of the Rings 6 (plus the additional books, including The Silmarillion and Unfinished Tales), The Hobbit countless times (especially with news of the upcoming film), Northern Lights, Michael Crichton's Jurassic Park (the novel has so much more dinosaur carnage), Neil Strauss' The Game, a chunk of Ian Rankin books with Detective John Rebus, Bill Bryson (I am currently on Down Under), Empire of the Sun (I started this 3 years ago and have barely gotten half way). I also have The Jedi Path; but we all know this is no mere book. It is the Bible.

Favorite Artists

I have phases where different artists fascinate me, and so it should be; depending on my mood or where I am in the world. I have always liked the work of Hans Paus (concerning canvas paintings), the colours palette he uses is incredibly vibrant. I am a fan of Star Wars and it would be a sin if I didn't mention Ralph McQuarrie and his concept art for the original trilogy; truly inspirational. I also like Roy Lichtenstein's work and the illustrations of Quentin Blake and Michael Foreman. I am also going to throw in a favourite writer/director; Joss Whedon. He is behind the screenplay for Toy Story (even that is amazing enough), created Firefly, Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Serenity and finally has an Avengers film to add to his belt. What a guy!
