About Me

I had my first stop motion experience when I found a super 8 camera at a flee market in 1996. I made several small movies using this - should make them digital somewhen!!! I have upgraded to digital camera now, though. Still, it was really exiting to wait for the development back then, and finally see you puppets move and spending days moving them without frame grabber or computers to show the progress. Stop motion has been very low the past 5 year - too much time has gone into studies and work. But now I am setting up a permanent recording studio at home and hope to be able to dedicate much more time to stop motion!

Hobbies

Stop motion, playing music, building puppets, sets, and guitars.

Books

I just finished reading the new book "Stop-motion" by Barry Purves. Really a great book - extremely inspiring and can only be recommended, especially if you are new to stop motion, or, like me, has been away for a while.
