About Me

I have always loved animation. If I caught a glimpse of a cartoon or other animation when I was a kid I was certain it was intended for my age group (which led to a few surprises to say the least). As I have grown my love for animation has only deepened.

Hobbies

I am an improviser, actor, comedian and writer. I graduated from the University of Winnipeg Film program and I like movies, video games and climbing on things. I hate how ABOUT sections always make me feel like a pretentious jerk.

Books

I have read a few but my favourite ones are Terry Pratchet's Discworld series. Fantasy and Satire are like penut butter and chocolate. Nature's best friends.

Movie Interests

I grew up watching a lot of Hollywood films but since getting post secondary edumacterred I have tried to take in ass much classic and world cinema as I can. I am really into French New Wave, particularly Jean-Luc Godard at the moment. But I will always love Monty Python and other outrageous comedies of the sort.

Favorite Animators

From a young age I loved animation. First it was Bugs Bunny, clay animated christmas specials, Wallace and Gromit, and Saturday morning cartoons. Since then I have become a big fan of Don Hertzfeldt, Jan Svankmajer, Terry Gilliam, and who doesn't love Tim Burton's Nightmare before Christmas?
