About Me: It all started ( cue the wavy flashback machine) when I saw a King Kong, Mighty Joe Young, Ray Harryhausen marathon when I was about 6 years old. ( cue flash of light ).....
I've been working in film & tv production for about 24 years now. I started as an apprentice at what was a small animation company called Taylor Made Images back in the late 80's. We worked on many stop-motion commercials, politcal spots, and did the EFX for a few Sci-Fi films. Many years later , I was lucky enough to be be trained at Will Vinton Studios, where I really learned how to animate.
Hobbies: In my spare time, I sculpt customized cake toppers for birthdays, weddings etc. using Sculpy.
Books: I have a great collection of Stop-Motion and Special-Effects resource books that I like to refer to including books by or about Ray Harryhausen, Willis O'Brien, the great folks at Aardman Animation, Stan Winston , ILM , and Jim Henson to name a few.
Movie Interests: Everything.
Favorite Animators: Dan Taylor, Kent Burton ,Phil Tippett, Ron Cole, Will Vinton , Doug Aberle, Jim Danforth , Ray Harryhausen,Pete Kleinow, George Pal,Tom St. Amand , Gene Warren, Nick Park , PES , Matt Stone and Trey Parker.
