can I add you as a friend?
Hi Fernando, yes you can add me as a friend. Thanks for asking.
A site built by stop motion animators...
Hi Fernando, yes you can add me as a friend. Thanks for asking.
Hey Cool, try burmanfoam.com, they sell all sorts of stuff. Silicones, paints, foams.....just about everything.
Hi Alex, animationtoolworks.com is where I bought it. I don't recommend them if you have a spare lap top and can use capture software like Stop Motion pro or Dragon.
Well I have to make a few sculpting revisions for the current client of mine. Then I am going to complete the animation DVD project. After that it's back to Zombie Pirates again.
Hi Hans, those balls work perfectly fine. Actually they will be compatible with the ArmatureFX joints we are getting soon. But Wes, our supplier says the balls that come with them will be of comparable quality. I'm not sure, I still need to wait when we get them to test that out. Yeah maybe we can chat about it if you're interested.
Hi Metal, things are going good here and on the site. Thanks for asking! Did you find the right tools to cut those joints? They have a sale on a milling machine at micromark.com for 299 USD. It's the best price I've ever seen.
Hmmm, not off the top of my head. You might ask Don Carlson, do you know him? He may or may not charge, but he does offer some really good musical services.
Alright cool, do you know where I could contact him?
Thank you Marc
no i meant the wax will harden and you cant move the armature, just use it for the sculpt
The cheapest? I'm not sure since I haven't looked for a new one myself. But Olympus makes some pretty good ones. I own the C-5050 Z and the price for it is probably down since the time I bought it.
Hey Cool Guy, I'm not an expert with clothing. I know how to sculpt it, but I'm not good with sewing. I prefer hot glue. One thing you might try though is getting thin fabric gloves. They make good shirts if you cut one of the fingers out in the middle and on the sides.
Well I've still got to set up the garage, so a few days left for that. Then the sculpting job, maybe a week and a half. Then finally I can start to make the DVD. If I give a date, that's usually when people give me things to do. So I'll try not to jinx it this time and say it will be done when it's done :)
The plan is once I'm all finished setting up the new studio garage - I'm re-making the how to animate puppets DVD. Then Zombie Pirates will be worked on once again. I can't wait.
