Thank you both for the nice comments! It finally should become a shot with more trees in the foreground and a firefly stop motion puppet flying through it. This set I built in less than three days, it is done with real tree branches. I thought it would only be suitable for really dark background shots, but it seems like it will maybe even be convincing enough to show more of its details. It should finally also be combined with live action footage.
