May 2011 Monthly Challenge....

Re: May 2011 Monthly Challenge....

I finally had an idea, yesterday - much too late to start.
Congrats F&S -  nice character in that figure, and good little story to set up the limp!

Thanks Stopmo Nick and MattChappell!  Yah, I can't just do a random action.  I feel the animation should be more entertainining if the action is explained or has a consequence. smile

Re: May 2011 Monthly Challenge....

Sliced my thumb real bad with gardening shears yesterday.  Lost a lot of animation time and blood smile  But, I should be able to finish this thing by the end of the night.

Please do!  It's embarassing to be the only one who entered a challenge. hmm

With your entry, you have absolutely nothing to be embarrassed about. It's the rest of us, who didn't submit and (so far) let you be the only one to enter, who should be embarrassed.

Re: May 2011 Monthly Challenge....

A little late, but at least I got it done.  It's kind of hard to animate puppets without the use of a thumb.  Anyways, here we are!  I animated this whole thing last night/ this morning??? -- crazy.  I didn't have time to add eyebrows or a mouth to the Richard puppet. But, it works ok.  It was a nice exercise. Now, I sleep.

Nice entries guys! They were both good.
When will we know what the June challenge is?
I would like to enter this time, I really need something to get me animating again.
I think the last monthly challenge I did was the December 2009 one.

@MattChappell, nice work, though I don't understand what the first part had to do with the last part. But that's ok for now - get your sleep. smile
Hopefully we'll have more entries for the June Challenge, since all us students finish off this month at the latest. I know I'll definitely have more time to even consider entering.

Very nice sets MattChappell! I also like the puppets, and the music.
