February 1 to February 29, 2012: Monthly Challenge Ad Compiliation!
Re: February 1 to February 29, 2012: Monthly Challenge Ad Compiliation!
Wow, that fella talks fast
So I just scanned through the thread and we seem to have 11 volunteers so far:
- Myself
- Daniel James
- Scott Daros
- Buckner
- Jesse O
- Matt Chappell
- Matt Goodluck
- F&S Studios
- Nederer
- Jahnocli
- Devicex62
With the sound file being 48 seconds, we would get 4.36 seconds each. Though, dividing it into 5-second segments sounds like a good idea because they would overlap, and probably help when it comes to stitching them together.
Edit: Sorry, I think Jahnocli was just offering suggestions and not volunteering. So, perhaps we do have just 10...?

Hey Buckner, your idea is good. The idea of breaking the audio down and animating to it is good. The problem is that if people drop out or don't finish in time we'll have gaps. Now if Dean is right, each person will have a little over 4 seconds long to animate or even less if more add their films. That's the main problem as I see it. Each person can add their own sound or do a voice for their animation. I will make the audio level low for your tracks and Rons voice will be full volume.
For your TV shot I can also add a green screen in Photoshop over it. Just make sure you are filming it with a tripod because if it's moving it will be hard for me to match. That's the only thing.
Will that be ok?

Hey, guys. Has anyone started yet? We now have 12 volunteers which means that's 4 seconds each. I wasn't really sure what was happening, so I thought I'd get the ball rolling. I hope Marc doesn't mind....? I've split the audio into 12 separate mp3 files. Hopefully this has made it easier for everyone to pick a section they want to do. Obviously, we all have to do different sections so it's kinda first come, first serve. All clips are around 4 seconds depending on where the dialogue broke, and are split as follows:
1 - 4 seconds - Devicex62
4 - 8 seconds - Matt Chappell
8 - 12 seconds - Tommy
12 - 16 seconds - Dean
16 - 20 seconds - Tim
20 - 24 seconds - Jahnocli
24 - 28 seconds - Buckner
28 - 32 seconds - Fred
32 - 36 seconds - Nederer
36 - 40 seconds - Matt Goodluck
40 - 44 seconds - Kelvin
44 - 48 seconds - Father&SonStudios
Phew, that was a task! I'm guessing you can download from there. If you have any problems I can email you the clip

Once you have selected a clip, it might be best to mention which one you chose so nobody else does it.
Is this OK with you guys?
