Rubber Forms Under Silicone Skin?
Rubber Forms Under Silicone Skin?
I have been sketching out puppet designs for a while and I have been looking at all the options for materials open to me by studying not only the materials mentioned here and amongst the various stop motion books out there but also numerous special effects makeup books. Something I have been curious about is if anyone here has tried to put a stretchy rubber material that mimics something like say a triceps under a silicone skin? What would be the best material to get a form fitting non stick barrier between the silicone and what ever stretchy rubber used for the muscle?
I am asking this mainly for the purposes of experimentation. This is not something I plan to commit to my puppet designs but is merely something I want to try. However, though I have read about different materials I have not had the chance to experiment yet.
Any suggestions or references would be appreciated. Thank you in advance,
