New Challenges are Being Worked on!
Hi everyone, I'm talking to Leroy Binks about helping once again with the challenges. Hopefully he's all settled for the moment, but there's a chance he will be busy and unable to be the challenge admin. Marc_H offered to help, so if Leroy can't at least Marc is willing to help. I'll let everyone know what's going on once I hear back from Leroy, or he may just sign up here and reply and speak for himself.

Hey Marc,
I am almost finished with the Challenge trophy but production stalled when I was told by a SMMN member that SMMN would be combined with AC. Is this true? I am now working on the base and it would be great to know what site will host the monthly challenges so I can sculpt it into the base.

Hey Mike, it's true. We'll be having new challenges only here on Animate Clay from now on once we close down SMM.

Yikes! That's kind of a downer. Why is SMMN being closed down? There is a lot of content and hard work that went into that site by us all. I like the AC name a bunch more than SMMN but I prefer the features SMMN offers. Will this new version of AC have the features that SMMN had preferably the customizable member pages, blogs, pic galleries and would we lose all of the content and "stars" that we earned? Also is the trophy something that you still want to have for the AC challenges?

Hi Mike, we've been talking about the new site and SMM closing for maybe six weeks already. The members of SMM helped to shape this new site, including the slogan, colors of the black theme and everything. I'm sorry you weren't around to give feedback before, otherwise you could have helped out too.
Take a look around this site, you'll see almost all of the same features - minus some that weren't used often. You should watch some of the old live shows to catch up.

Good to hear the Trophy is almost completed. Looking forward to seeing an Image of it.
I think the merge is great news.
Having one Domain to offer the best features of the two previous websites makes everything a lot easier, since it's all in one place.

The profiles look good so far.
Not sure if there's Blogs yet, but there's Picture and Video Galleries.

I really like the idea of combining the sites. Especially now with the new great update.
Hopefully it will help everyone stay connected a little easier as well.
Hope I'll be able to enter a few challenges once they start up again!
