Well I think it's clear that this radio spot did not bring in as many people as the poster shown at the 2:26, 4:56, and 7:26 spots on this video did.
Funny thing, RKO originally was just gonna dump this movie on the public without any ads, cause they thought it was such a drain on the studio. It wasn't until they showed the film to a preview audience, who flipped out at the screening, two weeks before the New York premiere, that they thought that the film might actually make a buck. They really had to hurry the ad department to get the word out before the film opened.
