Push began in September 2009 by asking hackers and modders what they could dream to do with the Nokia N900. Hundreds of entries later, five submissions were brought to life and now two of those have been developed into a limited run of working prototypes designed to work on the soon-to-launch Nokia N8.

Both prototypes, PUSH KAPing and PUSH Skating, push the Nokia device way beyond the conventions of a phone. 

PUSH KAPing stands for Kite Aerial Photography.  By using two N8s that communicate with one another, film makers can now fly one from a kite rig whilst using another on the ground to not only see, but also control exactly what is being shot in full HD from above.

PUSH Skating takes the world of skate games away from the games console and back to the streets by allowing skaters’ boards to communicate with their N8 to score every single little move they make.

We now have 4 of each prototype to give away to anybody who can inspire us with a creative treatment of what they would do with them.  We’ve created these two films to show just a couple of possibilities, but we know that you guys will have some amazing ideas.
