Belgians Stephane Aubier and Vincent Patar created this zany film in 2009. Is it worth watching?
Well to be honest, I haven't seen it. But I have received a lot of e-mails about it over the past few years by fans of the feature. Yes I said feature! And it's made with very simple characters and sets, purposely made to be a little grungy. In fact, they wanted to use simple worn out and used toys as the basis for their feature.
The duo didn't just make a feature that became an over-night success. They made several short films based around the same characters, an indian, cowboy and a horse which first became popular on TV. They also used their underground connections in the comic world and previous 2-D cel animation experience to draw upon. The end result is one downhill gag after another after one of the main characters accidentally buys fifty million bricks and a BBQ backfires. How can that happen? I don't know myself as I haven't seen the full film. But I have seen the trailers, one of which you can watch below.
Read more about the film makers, the main characters and read an interview with them on the official site here.
If you're interested in supporting both Stephane and Vincent in their stop motion efforts, you can get a copy of the film here.

so missed all of the bizarre cartoons from Nickelodeon and Cartoon Network. The style of this kind of gets on my nerves a little, but that's maybe just the way the trailer's put together- and I hate those milk adverts...
Havn't seen it though, so I guess I can't judge.
