Spain has an amazing group of model makers, set builders and animators who share their work not only on screen but off.
While the title of this new news post is "ClayKids", ClayKids is just the name of a large project that Javier Tostado has created (52, 11 minute episodes) as part of many interactive happenings at the studio in Valencia. Here's a brief description about ClayKids:
"Seven misfit kids thrown together by circumstance, tackling the trials and tribulations of tweenhood with a worldy-wise sense of humor. They face conflict from teachers, parents and each other,....".
The neat part about not just this series of short films is that you can go to the studio and take part in workshops that teach you everything from puppet building to animation. They are currently looking for more teachers as well. So if you'd like to help them then this is a great opportunity.
Everything about the production is sharp including the web site. Make sure to check out all the behind the scenes pictures and all the videos. There's tons of stuff to get inspired by. To visit just click here and you'll be transported....
