Eguia Studio (Barcelona)

Barcelona has a new studio creating clay, stop motion and CG animations. Their latest called Los Cubios is one of the most exciting.
Recently while trying to discover new animations out there on the web I came across this new studio. What I really enjoyed was finding the one minute long short called Los Cubios. It has a cube shaped puppet that is animated mostly as replacements which gives it a nice squash and stretchy animated look. This is something a lot of animators avoid because of the massive amount of sculptures it takes. But to me it's one way of making very nice looking animations. You can watch it below.
There's not much more I can add since I still need to learn Spanish, but from the looks of it this studio has a bright beginning and hopefully long future. So for now here are some links:
