Jeff Lafferty is first and foremost an illustrator, so how he makes films comes from a different perspective we can all learn from.
If you don't know who Jeff Lafferty is, you've probably seen some of his work in comic book stores or in illustrated trading cards. He especially loves making videos showing how he creates his illustrations, but he's also got a stop motion project called Curse of the Wolfs Heart. He's been working on it on and off for a long time and has created sets, puppets, costumes, armatures and more. Below is one of his test shots.
Jeffs blog is a little unorthodox in the way you navigate around, but basically clicking on any of the upper pictures or video images will bring you to a new blog post filled with interesting puppet making techniques and illustrations.
