Lucila Las Heras completed The Portrait of the Pest short film in 2009.
The short film was shot in Buenos Aires Argentina and has rich and deep sets. There is no dialogue but it isn't needed as everything is done through gestures and movements. While it makes the animation a little faster it takes much better skill in timing and poses of each character.
It is not Lucila's only stop motion film, in fact you can find even more on the main vimeo video page for the productions here. You can watch the full short film below.

that was pretty cool, started off a little slow but kept my attention through out. loved the sets and music. pretty cool idea at the end how he painted "death" (I a*sume) and he materialized in front of everyone. I thought it would have been cool if his face melted off or something
