With the release of Chicken Run - Dawn of the Nugget, Aardman has allowed people to come in and see what they've been up to. In this video, BAFTA interviews artists who worked on the film, showing armatures, sets, camera setups and more. There's no denying the expert craftsmanship and love that everyone put into bringing back the original characters. Rocky, Babs, Ginger, Fowler and all of the gang looked as if they were plucked right out of the original and re-animated.
As a historical side note, many years back there was an Aardman warehouse fire that destroyed much of their original puppets. Many of the Chicken Run puppets were luckily on display in museums, which probably helped them to create such perfect copies in Dawn of the Nugget.
