Aardman are making major progress on the new Wallace and Gromit film called Vengeance Most Fowl. The new film is out this January and looks to be part two of the Wrong Trousers. Feathers McGraw somehow escaped his prison and creates havoc for the famous duo. Wallace gets blamed for inventions that Feathers unleashes, but what they are is anyone's guess.
I noticed in the trailer Wallace did get a puppet upgrade. He now has a real wool vest, shirt and tie. Most definitely this helps to cut down on time re-sculpting the arms during animation like the old days. But aside from some CGI water effects and perhaps editing, Aardman has stuck to their iconic style.
The film will be out on Netflix this January 3rd. It would definitely be worth the subscription! 2025 is shaping up to be an exciting year for stop motion!
